The Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes formally kick off the weekend with a dinner, for those who are already in the city.
6:30 p.m. Dinner upstairs at Annie Moore's, 22 E. 41st Street (map)
Cost: Attendees pay their own checks, including tax and tip, but a reservation is required. Please let Ira Matetsky know if you're coming to the event; have your response to him by January 5.

The 16th annual Christopher Morley Walk led by Jim Cox and Doré Nash. The walk is free, but be prepared to pay for a Metrocard and lunch. Doré tells us that there are mugs of light and/or dark ale served two at a time, along with corned beef on rye or a cheddar cheese platter with raw onions and crackers.
9:15 a.m. The walk commences at a location TBD (likely the Westin Grand Central Hotel)
1:30 p.m. Lunch at McSorley's (15 E. 7th Street) following the walk
Cost: The walk is free; lunch is pay-your-own

Awards for Doylean excellence in four categories: fiction and poetry, performing and visual arts, scholarly writing, and service. They will be presented in The Mysterious Bookshop. Each honoree will receive a $250 Bookshop credit and a certificate featuring a doily selected by lace expert Bev Wolov.

Sherlock Holmes in 221 Objects
A special viewing of Sherlock Holmes in 221 Objects, items from the collection of Glen S. Miranker. The Grolier Club will feature this special exhibition from January 12 – April 16, 2022.

The William Gillette Memorial Luncheon
THE GILLETTE LUNCHEON IS ON HIATUS FOR 2022
The organizers have been unable to find a venue that is sufficient for the large size of the luncheon gathering with COVID safety precautions in place.
We expect the Gillette Luncheon to return in 2023.

The Literary Agents — Annual Meeting
10:00 a.m.: Online via Zoom, discussing ‘Conan Doyle’s India’ with Jayantika Ganguly BSI, Sumal Surendranath, and Paul M. Chapman.
