The Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes formally kick off the weekend with a dinner, for those who are already in the city.

The Christopher Morley WalkThe 16th annual Christopher Morley Walk led by Jim Cox and Doré Nash. The walk is free, but be prepared to pay for a Metrocard and lunch. Doré tells us that there are mugs of light and/or dark ale served two at a time, along with corned beef on rye or a cheddar cheese platter with raw onions and crackers.

The 22nd BSI Distinguished Speaker Lecture
This year's Distinguished Speaker is Ken Ludwig, two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright whose work is performed throughout the world in more than 30 countries in over 20 languages. He’s written 26 plays and musicals, with six Broadway productions and seven in London’s West End. His three delightful Sherlockian plays (originally starring)—The Game’s Afoot (Donald Sage Mackay), Postmortem (Patrick Horgan) and Baskerville—are perennial favorites among Sherlockians.

The Daintiest Filly on the Turf Charity Ball
The Baker Street Babes present a charity event to benefit the Disabled American Veterans Trust. Auction, Quiz, Costume Competition, Raffle. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the DAV Trust.
